According to the portal G1The suspect said he was having sex with his wife on Sunday night when she bit his finger on his left hand, the civilian police quoted him as saying. Because he didn’t like the situation, he waited until his partner fell asleep before stabbing her in the neck and chest. Tatiela de Cassia dos Reis Gonçalves was 37 years old and did not survive her injuries.
After committing the crime, Marcus fled to the countryside, but eventually decided to surrender to the authorities.
The Brazilian is in pre-trial detention and is responsible for the crime of feminicide, and could face a prison sentence of 12 to 30 years. Tatiele’s body was buried on Tuesday morning in Botelhos.
