Two suspects in the robbery and attack on the guards of Villas-Boas’s house were placed under house arrest

Two of the four men who have been in custody since late February on suspicion of robbing and assaulting home guard Andre Villas-Boas have now been placed under house arrest. The other two, who had criminal records, will remain in prison.

The two men, who were placed under house arrest, apparently played a minor role in the beating of Villas-Boas’s guard.

The attacks near the home of the Porto football club presidential candidate occurred in the early hours of November 22, 2023. The 64-year-old man was in a car in front of the residence when he was surprised by the attackers. He was attacked with punches and kicks to the head. There were traces of blood on the sidewalk and on the wall next to the house. The group then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
