Salgueiros’ reception at Maritimo B was interrupted this Sunday by the referee in the 87th minute due to a mix-up that ended with match referee João Loureiro lying on the pitch.
The referee from Viana do Castelo showed Amado Touré, the Salguerist striker, a red card, and after an alleged head-on collision between them, the referee fell to the ground. Soon after, he whistled for the end of the match.
Red was shown right after a draw (1:1) to Maritimo B by Dylan from the penalty spot. Earlier, Cicero (35 minutes) put Salgueiros ahead. It is worth noting that the 29-year-old striker Toure made his debut after being signed by Uniao de Santarém and officially … yesterday, on the eve of the match of the 17th round of Serie B of the Portuguese Championship.
