Dogs attacked homeowners in Matosinhos and seriously injured one person

Two dogs attacked their owners in their home this Saturday in Matosinhos, Porto district, causing serious injuries to a woman and minor injuries to a man, an official source told Lusa.

Speaking to Lusa, a source from the Matosinhos Lesa fire service said that the attack alarm was raised at 14:32 and that a seriously injured woman and her companion with minor injuries were at the scene. The victims are between 65 and 70 years old.

A source from the sub-regional command of the Porto region added that there are 14 people and six vehicles from the fire department of Lesa da Palmeira, the Red Cross of Vila do Conde, Porto PSP and a medical vehicle from the Pedro Hispano hospital.

The woman was taken to the São João Hospital and her partner to the Pedro Espano Hospital.
