Pedro Nuno Santos, secretary general of the PS, reacted on Tuesday to the decision on the new location of Lisbon airport and said he “supports the government’s decision.”
Pedro Nuno Santos also states that “two years ago, when he made this decision, the country had already been studying locations for 50 years, so the decision was made deliberately.”
“It was a job well done and tedious, and now the best solution has been confirmed: Alcochete.”
The Socialist leader also praises the fact that the government has decided to press ahead with a third Tagus crossing and is “personally congratulated” that work on the new airport is finally moving forward.
