WHOOP, the physical performance monitoring company, announced Tuesday that Cristiano Ronaldo has become the brand’s new official global ambassador and investor, joining Patrick Mahomes, Michael Phelps, Eli Manning, Rory McIlroy and others.
Ronaldo and WHOOP will collaborate on product development and use data-driven insights to improve training and physical performance. A company statement explained that the partnership was already “obvious” because Ronaldo’s “success was built on an obsession with performing at the highest level.”

Together, we will introduce exciting joint products to enhance the WHOOP experience for our members,” he adds. .

Ronaldo’s partnership and investment coincides with the announcement of WHOOP’s expansion into Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Israel, Korea and Taiwan, India, Mexico and Brazil.
