Who is Mohamed Amra, the prisoner on the run from a mobile phone van attack in France?

Prisoner Mohamed Amra, known as “La Mouche”, escaped on Tuesday after attacking an authorities vehicle transporting him to court in France. Mohamed is 30 years old and heads a drug trafficking network.

According to Le Parisien, was convicted on May 10 by the Evreux court of robbery and charged by the specialized interregional jurisdiction of Marseille with kidnapping and kidnapping resulting in death. The fugitive is also wanted on suspicion of attempted murder as part of an organized gang.

Mohamed was imprisoned in the Baumet prison in Marseille, in the Santé prison in Paris, and then transferred to the Evreux prison.

Two days before the attack, the man had already tried to escape, but was unsuccessful, as a result of which he was placed in a ward with enhanced supervision.
