Juraj K., a 71-year-old death poetry writer, was identified by police as the man who shot dead Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on Wednesday afternoon in Handlova.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the attack, which occurred after a local government meeting in a city 150 kilometers from Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
The attack occurred at 15:00 local time. (14:00 in mainland Portugal), following a local government meeting, it quickly made news around the world.

According to Slovak media, Juraj C. is a writer and poet, one of the founders of the literary group “DUHA”. According to the local press, one of the poems now published is dedicated to death.
