An armed robbery alert at a house in Alcabides, Cascais, resulted in the arrest of the robbery victim. The alleged group of thieves had already fled when CHP officials arrived on the scene, but the owner, caught off guard as the warning was given by someone else, “forgot” to hide the illegal business he was running from his home. a real conveyor belt for drug trafficking.
The incident took place on Friday afternoon when a group of thieves forcibly entered the house. A friend of the owner may have noticed the brutal attack and called 112, who called GNR to the scene. The gang, armed with pistols, managed to escape, and what they managed to capture is still unknown. Upon analysis of the robbery scene, officers found 2,917 doses of cannabis, 469 doses of hashish, 201 doses of crystal amphetamines, 32 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 40 ecstasy tablets and €19,279 in cash. Also seized were 237 vacuum seal bags and precision scales, items used to separate and condition different types of products before they are delivered to consumers on the street.
The PNP is currently investigating a human trafficking scheme in this area of Cascais and the robbery will be under the jurisdiction of the Judicial Police.
