Ministry of Education ‘rejects lynching of Nepalese child’ by Amador school students

The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MECI) denies any lynching of a Nepalese child by students at a school in Amador (Lisbon), confirming the opening of an investigation into the school into an attack between two students in November.

“Due to news reports appearing in the media, the band director became aware late last week of reports indicating an episode of aggression between two students, rather than a ‘lynching’ involving ‘five or six’ that occurred in November,” not “two months”. None of the students have “Nepalese citizenship” and are not “nine years old”. After these reports, the group’s management began an investigation, which is still ongoing. ” MECI said in response to Lusa.

The Observador newspaper reported this Thursday that an investigation has opened at the Amadora school where the alleged attacks took place.
