This Thursday, two men were in preventive detention after the PSP presented them to the Aveiro Criminal Court on suspicion of involvement in a drug trafficking network. During the same process, three other men and one woman heard about the periodic representation measure coming into force.
Six suspects were arrested by the Aveiro PSP following Operation Marecia. The operation was carried out after an investigation that continued for several months by the PSP Criminal Investigation Unit in the Caian area and other locations in the city of Aveiro.
During the operation, authorities seized 170 euros of suspected illegal origin, a car, seven mobile phones, brass knuckles and about 100 doses of hashish, cocaine and heroin. PSP Aveiro executed six arrest warrants outside the commission of a crime and one during the commission of a crime.
