A man was killed and a woman was injured when a farm tractor overturned in Agua Travessa, municipality of Pombal, Civil Protection and National Republican Guard (NRG) sources told Lusa.
According to the Subregional Command for Emergency Situations and Civil Protection of the Leiria Region, the alarm about the incident in the parish of Pelariga was raised at 15:26 and by the volunteer firefighters of Pombal, the National Institute of Emergency Medicine and Health Care. GNR.
A GNR source said the victim who died was 84 and the woman with minor injuries was 24, and the accident occurred on private property.
The commander of the Pombal corporation, Paulo Albano, added that these are two people from the same family, a grandfather and a granddaughter.
