A detail that promises to cause great controversy is that the arrest orders for the two suspects were signed by Alexandre de Moraes himself. However, sources in the STF said that the judge did not order the arrests on his own initiative, but that they were authorized by him after a request from the Attorney General of the Republic (PGR), Paulo Gonet.
