The Home Secretary returns on Tuesday to meet with PSP unions and GNR associations over the increase, after already presenting three proposals that have angered police.
This is the fourth negotiation meeting between Margarida Blasco and six public security police unions and five National Republican Guard associations.
In the last round of negotiations, the Minister of the Interior proposed changing the fixed part of the service and risk allowance already existing in the security forces from 100 to 280 euros, increasing it by 180 euros and maintaining the variable part of 20 euros. % of the base order.
The PSP unions and the GNR association left the meeting dissatisfied with the proposal presented by Margarida Blasco, as they believed that “the value is very low.”
In response, the platform of PSP trade unions and GNR associations submitted a counter-proposal to the government, proposing to increase the risk premium by 300 euros this year and by a further 300 in 2025, increasing from the current 100 to 700 euros.
The platform advocates for the €600 increase to be paid in stages between this year and 2025.
Currently, the service and risk allowance in the security forces consists of a fixed part of 100 euros and a variable part of 20% of the basic salary.
Since negotiations began in April, the government has presented three proposals for police bonuses.
