Portuguese Joao Palinha may sign a contract with Bayern Munich, leaving the English club Fulham before the start of the 2024 European Championship, the German press reports.
The deal could be worth around 35 million euros.
It is worth remembering that last summer, last summer, the Portugal international was actually in Munich to sign a contract with the Bavarians, but the deal fell through due to the refusal of the English team at the last minute.
Paligna was disappointed by the stalemate but returned to England and remained at Fulham until the end of the season. Negotiations have resumed, but Bayern are offering a lower price than the 65 million offered last year.
The Portuguese, who trains at Sporting, has played 27 matches for the national team. With the Lions he won four titles: a championship, a Super Cup and two League Cups. In Portugal he also played for Braga, Moreirense and Belenenses – always on loan from Alvalade.
In the 2016/20 season with Braga, he won another League Cup.
