The PS (32.4%) is winning the European elections this Sunday with a slight advantage over the AD (32%), according to data from the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Socialists have already managed to elect six members of the European Parliament, one more than from AD.
Chega (9.9%) and IL (8.5%) will make their debut in the European Parliament. The corresponding heads of the list, Tangier Correa (Chega) and Cotrim de Figueiredo (Illinois), have already been elected.
BE (4.06%) is expected to lose one of its two MEPs. Former blockade coordinator Catarina Martins is not expected to be accompanied by Jose Gusmão to the European Parliament.
The CDU (3.97%) risks losing two of its MEPs, while Livre (3.50%) could be elected for the first time.
PAN (1.17%) will not be able to maintain the mandate won in the last European elections. In 2019, the party elected Francisco Guerreiro with about 5% of the vote.
ADN (1.42%), a party without parliamentary representation, is ahead of PAN.
