Alcantara won this year’s Lisbon Popular March Competition, the Cultural Equipment and Entertainment Management Company (EGEAC), responsible for organizing the initiative, announced this Thursday.
In second place was the march of Marvil, and in third place was the march of Alfama.
This year’s march featured 20 groups and the Tagus was the central theme of the Great Lisbon March, with lyrics by Flávio Gil and music by João Paulo Soares.
