The Portuguese team will hold their first training session on German soil this Friday, a session that will be completely open, with fans in the stands, in Gütersloh, five days before their debut in the final stage of Euro 2024 football.
After arriving in Germany on Thursday and at the training center in Marienfeld, the national team holds its first training session at the Heidewaldstadion, a stadium that seats about eight thousand fans.
UEFA obliges all teams participating in the European Championship to hold at least one training session open to fans during the competition.
The meeting is scheduled for 18:00 local time (17:00 Lisbon time) in Gütersloh, a city located 13 kilometers from where the Portuguese delegation is based.
Before that, at 12:00 local time (11:00 Lisbon time), the player, whose name has not yet been named, will speak to reporters at a press conference in Marienfeld.
At Euro 2024, Portugal will play in Group F with the Czech Republic (June 18, in Leipzig), Turkey (June 22, in Dortmund) and Georgia (June 26, in Gelsenkirchen).
