The Navegante passage of the Carris Metropolitana transport network can be used from July 1 on Linhas Mar, which serves the beaches of Sesimbra and Costa da Caparica, the company announced this Thursday.
In a statement, Carris Metropolitana said that, like last year, Mar lines will begin operating from July 1 to August 31 to serve passengers wishing to go to the beach during the summer months.
Carris Metropolitana provides direct connections during the summer months to the municipalities of Odivelas, Vila Franca de Xira and Loures, as well as to the beaches of Costa da Caparica and the municipalities of Almada, Seixal and Sesimbra.
The connection is made via lines 2650 Cidade Nova – Costa da Caparica, 2651 Bucelas – Costa da Caparica, 2652 Costa da Caparica – Forte da Casa and 2850 Costa da Caparica – Povoa de Santo. Adrian.
The connection will also be made via lines 3650 Moita – Sesimbra and 4643 Montijo (Avenida Infante D. Enrique – Sesimbra (terminal).
For frequent travel, the Navegante municipal pass costs €30 per month and the Navegante Metropolitano pass costs €40 per month.
For passengers who prefer infrequent travel, an onboard ticket costs €4.50 and a prepaid ticket costs €3.10.
Carris Metropolitana is an initiative of 18 municipalities of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (AML), which, through the Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa (TML), brings together the road activities of the entire AML.
The municipalities covered by this entity are: Lisbon, Loures, Odivelas, Amadora, Oeiras, Cascais, Sintra, Mafra and Vila Franca de Xira in the district of Lisbon, as well as Almada, Seixal, Barreiro, Alcochete, Palmela, Setúbal, Sesimbra , Moita. and Montijo in the district of Setúbal.
