The cemetery of Sant Felix da Marinha in Vila Nova de Gaia has become the target of witchcraft rituals and vandalism. The incident was reported to GNR at Arcozelo station, which is investigating the situation. It all happened on June 11, after a warning from the gravedigger who arrived at the scene. The authors of the spiritual ritual entered the tombs by breaking and breaking the glass. The theft of valuables has not yet been reported.
What authorities and the gravedigger found is macabre. Inside some of the tombs were pieces of fruit, sweets, some papers with words written on them, and even a photo of a couple – which could indicate a bonding ritual (capturing a person on a love level) or a separation ritual.
Outside of other deposits, chicken feet, popcorn and yellow powder were found on the ground – the authorities cannot understand what it is. “They did it next to the coffin of a man who died 50 years ago. There were skulls, blood, dead chickens and pigeons. This is witchcraft,” he described CM a resident of São Felix da Marinha who did not want to be identified.
It is currently unknown whether this creepy ritual was practiced by one person or a group. The couple in the photograph in the parish are unknown.
