The Directorate General of Prison Services (DGSP) has terminated the contract of a registered nurse working at the Lisbon Judicial Police (PJ) prison after she was caught by prison guards attempting to enter the facility with four syringes containing anabolic substances.
The complaint was filed in CM National Prison Guard Alliance. An official source in DGSP confirmed this CM that the situation occurred on June 10. “During a routine check at the entrance to a prison facility, syringes were found in the suitcase of a registered nurse who worked in a prison facility located next to the Lisbon Judicial Police,” he said. ABOUT CM knows that the substance inside the syringes was adrenaline, a substance used to strengthen muscles.
The woman was soon not allowed to go to the place of detention. The guard who identified her, in addition to confiscating the syringes, informed the prison management about what had happened. As a result of this scrutiny, the DGSP confirms, “the nurse was not permitted to provide services and her contract was terminated.”
