A 33-year-old man was arrested by the Judicial Police (PJ) on suspicion of child sexual abuse, petty prostitution and drug trafficking in Lagos, Algarve. The victims range in age from 13, 14 to 17 years.
According to the statement of the joint venture, the facts occurred in the own home of a suspect who, taking advantage of his influence over minors who were vulnerable due to their age, their economic needs and the drugs he gave them for use, encouraged them to engage in serious sexual practices for a fee.
The investigation began after a complaint from one of the minors placed in the colony. The events took place between April and June 2023.
The detainee will be present at the first judicial interrogation for the purpose of applying coercive measures.
