The Portuguese national football team held their final training session in Marienfeld, Germany, this Sunday before the game against Slovenia in the 1/8 finals of Euro 2024, when coach Roberto Martinez brought all the players out onto the pitch.
On a morning that saw the return of rain and cold to the team’s headquarters in Germany, the three goalkeepers began their work session with specific work in another area of the field.
The 23 outfield players completed warm-up exercises with and without the ball for 15 minutes, open to media representatives.
Portugal will fly to Frankfurt in the afternoon and at the Deutsche Bank Park, the arena where the game will be held, the coach and player will be at the usual press conference to preview the match, scheduled for 18:45 local time (17:45 in Lisbon).
In the Round of 16, Portugal, winners of Group F, will face Slovenia, third in Group C, in a game scheduled for 21:00 (20:00) on Monday and refereed by Italian Daniele Orsato.
