The Portugal national football team held its last training session in Marienfeld (Germany) this Sunday before the game with Slovenia in the 1/8 finals of Euro 2024, when coach Roberto Martinez brought all the players onto the field.
On a morning marked by the return of rain and cold to the team’s “headquarters” in Germany, the three goalkeepers began their working session by performing specific work on another part of the pitch.
The 23 outfield players completed warm-up exercises with and without the ball during 15 minutes open to the media.
Portugal will fly to Frankfurt in the afternoon and at the Deutsche Bank Park, the arena where the game will be held, the coach and player will be at the usual press conference to preview the match, scheduled for 18:45 local time (17:45 in Lisbon).
In the Round of 16, Group F winners Portugal will face Group C third-placed Slovenia in a game scheduled for 21:00 (20:00) on Monday, refereed by Italian Daniele Orsato.
