The lists of candidates for teacher placements were published on Thursday evening on the website of the Directorate General of School Administration (DGAE) and teachers were informed of the results via a mobile phone message.
According to DGAE, the final lists for the 2024-2025 academic year for distribution, exclusion, placement and non-distribution are intended for internal and external competition.
Applicants who have been offered a place must agree to be placed on a computer application for this purpose between the 12th and 18th.
Failure to accept a specific item on the final list would result in “cancellation of the placement and initiation of disciplinary proceedings against the professional teachers,” the DGAE warned.
Teachers can lodge a hierarchical appeal without suspensive effect between the ages of 12 and 18.
To this end, “applicants must brief their processes by explaining the situation and attaching all information they consider relevant via an ‘upload’ to the application,” a statement released by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation detailed.
The list of places applies to preschool teachers, primary and secondary school teachers.
