Frederico Pinheiro, the former deputy of João Galamba, then the Minister of Infrastructure, voluntarily gave his office phone number to MPs when he made statements to the parliamentary commission investigating TAP last May, even though no one asked him to do so, according to CNN PortugalFrederico Pinheiro will erase all contents of the device before sealing it and handing it over to the Judicial Police (PJ).
According to the same source, Galamba’s former deputy tried to reveal that government agencies had diligently confiscated the official computer of a former Infrastructure employee, sending SIS agents to protect documents constituting a state secret, without even bothering to confiscate the official cell phone on which the same documents may be stored.
Frederico Pinheiro handed over his mobile phone to the deputies, not to mention that before going to parliament he deleted all the content contained on it.
