Adele has announced that she will take a break from her career after completing a series of concerts she has been performing at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas since November 2023 and which will end on November 22 this year. Weekends with Adele is the first cycle of regular concerts that the artist has been performing.
While on holiday in Munich, Germany, Adele admitted to German media that she would be taking a break from her music career, but intended to explore her creativity in other ways.
This is not the first time the singer has announced a break. The artist’s last stop lasted five years and was announced after the release of the album. 25in 2015.
In Munich, the singer also has two concerts a week scheduled for five weeks, a total of 10 concerts in the same city, before the final performances in Las Vegas.
Marek Lieberberg, the promoter of the Munich concerts, told German media that 95% of the tickets had already been sold.
The last album released by Adele was thirtypublished in November 2021, reached vertex in the UK and the United States of America and became a bestseller in the US in just one day of sales.
