A man was stabbed several times on his body early this Friday morning in the old district of Queluz, Sintra. The victim was completely naked during the attacks, and when he was found, it turned out that the attacker (now arrested) acted out of jealousy.
This was reported by an official PSP source. CM that the attack took place shortly after 3am on Rua dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Several witnesses alerted the PSP to violent clashes on the street. The first patrols to arrive on the scene found a wounded man wandering around, naked and with a large amount of blood on his body. The Queluz fire brigade was called and he was taken to Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon.
Based on the description provided by the victim, the PSP was able to locate the attacker. The man was in possession of two knives with traces of blood. He was arrested and handed over to the PSP of the Judicial Police, which was responsible for investigating the attempted murder. A security cordon was set up on several streets in the area to conduct the investigation.
