Porto beat Austria Wien 3-1 this Friday in the Dragons’ second friendly match in preparation for the 2024/25 football season in Vienna.
Andre Franco gave the blue-and-whites the lead in the 10th minute, but with the score at 45+2, Brazilian defender Lucas Galvão brought the game to half-time, with Gonzalo Borges, 74, and Spaniard Nico González, 81, securing Portugal’s victory over the teams that finished eighth in the Austrian league last season.
It was the second game open to the public for the 2024/25 version of FC Porto, led by Vitor Bruno, former assistant of Sergio Conceição, after the 4-0 win over Al Arabi of Qatar on Tuesday, already during the internship on Austrian soil.
