The reduction in the amounts charged to motorists should amount to approximately two cents per litre for diesel fuel and one cent per litre for petrol.
Taking into account the average fuel prices in effect at the end of this week at national level, according to data from the General Directorate of Energy and Geology, the price of a litre of simple diesel fuel should sell for an average of 1,563 euros per litre.
As for regular 95-octane petrol, it should be around 1,727 euros per litre. These figures already include discounts on cards offered by petrol stations.
