The Foreign Office has discovered new documents and emails related to the Portuguese-Brazilian twins case that were not sent to the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI). CM You know that on the 26th, a letter from the office of Minister Paulo Rangel announced an addition to the documentation already sent to the deputies.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs explains that these are documents that were not initially identified during the investigation by the State Secretariat for Portuguese Communities.
Among the new letters and documents that reached the deputies is information about the process of obtaining citizenship for Maite and Lorena, as well as information about the participants in the process in Brazil.
There are also additional documents relating to the first communication of the case by the President of the Republic to the Chief of Staff of the Secretariat of State for Portuguese Communities on 31 October 2019.
Let us recall that the adviser to the President of the Republic, Maria João Ruela, also discovered two new emails that were not sent to the commission or the State Ministry after they were heard in Parliament.
