Partial strike at Euskotren on August 14 to protest against a new attack on a worker

A user has tipped a punch to a Euskotren worker who asked him to buy a ticket to be able to get on the train in the Bilbao neighborhood of Uribarri, according to ELA, which has called a partial strike for August 14 to protest this attack.

In a statement, the union said that the attack suffered by this station agent “highlights the lack of human resources and public resources to guarantee service and security.”

ELA has recalled that in recent years it has been denouncing the increase in attacks on public transport personnel, “the increasing seriousness” of these and “the degrading treatment that said personnel frequently suffer.”
