The NOW channel is growing and has had its best week since its launch. It averaged 0.8% share between August 12 and August 18, up from previous weeks.
Thanks to this result and the fact that several formats are already surpassing the audience of competitors, it registered an audience growth of 41.2% compared to the previous week.
This Sunday, in addition to the intense coverage of the fires in Madeira, NOW also enjoyed viewership in other formats. The Mercado NOW program at 17:16 achieved an average share of 0.9%, corresponding to approximately 30 thousand viewers. With this result, it surpassed SIC Notícias, which had a share of 0.7% and an average of 24,500 viewers.
These strong results have allowed NOW to grow consistently since its debut, guaranteeing a 47.1% increase since June 17, the date the channel first aired.
Canal NOW broadcasts in position 9 on MEO, NOS and Vodafone.
