A grey seal has been spotted on beaches in Portugal, although the animals prefer North Atlantic waters. Authorities said Wednesday they believed the multiple sightings were always of the same animal.
The National Maritime Administration has set up a safety perimeter and banned swimming in the bathing areas where the seal was spotted.
