Fernando said he checked his son’s clothes on the morning of the crime to make sure he had his mobile phone and personal documents with him and did not find any sharp objects.

On Sunday morning, at 11 a.m., he called Juan Francisco, who was already at his grandmother’s house. Fernando says he never suspected anything.

On Tuesday morning, when his son had already been detained, Fernando managed to exchange a few words with him while in prison.
