More than 58,000 students who applied for higher education will learn the results of the first stage of the nationwide admissions competition on Sunday, with just over 54,000 places remaining.
The results of the 1st stage of the national competition for access to public higher education for the 2024/2025 academic year must be published from 00:00 Sunday on the website of the Main Directorate of Higher Education.
There are 58,301 students applying for 54,601 places, which is 290 more than in the previous academic year, in 1,114 courses.
The enrollment and registration of students admitted to the 1st stage takes place from August 26 to 29, followed by the 2nd and 3rd stages of the national competition from August 26 to September 30.
Applications must be submitted on the website of the Directorate General of Higher Education.
Last year, out of 59,000 candidates, 49,438 were submitted, leaving about 16% unaccounted for.
