The Monserrate Palace in Sintra was robbed early on Tuesday morning. Two vases worth an estimated 100,000 euros were stolen.
An official source at GNR reported CM that the crime was reported early Tuesday morning by a private security company guarding the Monserrate Palace. The same source said the theft was carried out by escalation. “A window was also found,” he explained.
THAT CM discovered that a security guard had noticed the goods were missing and called the soldiers from the GNR Colares post responsible for patrolling the area. The real patrol confirmed the theft and sealed off the area.
Since it was a theft of art, the investigation was transferred to the Judicial Police (SP).
