The government has already replaced six of the 18 district directors of social services, among appointments published in the Diário da República and reported in the local press, according to data Business magazine.
In Viana do Castelo, Viseu, Évora, Bragança and Santarém, the candidates selected have clear links to the PSD, and in the last two cases, they do not have a CV in the social security field. In Bragança, the position is vacant due to the absence of the holder since March.
The Ministry of Social Security, headed by Maria do Rosário Ramalho, ensures that directors appointed on a substitute basis “have the academic training, experience and professional skills that enable them to carry out their role.”
Places “will be subject to competition through CReSAP.”
