Sporting’s attack target is more complex

Konrad Harder is Sporting’s preferred player to strengthen the attack after attempts by Greek Fotis Ioannidis and Brazilian Vitor Roque. The Lions are willing to pay Nordsjælland 15 million euros (including goals).

The 19-year-old has been on the radar of several European clubs, but a recent trip to Denmark by sporting director Hugo Viana has given the final push to a deal, despite interest from Brighton. Touted as one of the Scandinavian country’s young promises, Harder shares many of the same looks as Victor Giokeres, with pace and shooting being his main attributes.

The player, who recently extended his contract, will need to quickly confirm the contract in order to travel to Lisbon to undergo a medical before signing a contract for the next five seasons.

Harder has scored two goals and made two assists in six games for Nordsjælland this season.

Ruben Amorim is close to satisfying his desire to have another option for the attacking front. Following Paulinho’s departure for Mexican football in June, Victor Guioqueres has become the only available solution for the attacking sector itself.

With Harder likely to arrive, Rodrigo Ribeiro could leave Alvalade before the market closes. The 19-year-old striker has offers from Premier League and Arab League clubs.

The addition of another striker closes Leo’s squad, eliminating any last-minute business opportunities. This season, the Lions have already signed Bosnian Kovacevic, Belgian Debast and, most recently, Uruguayan Maxi Araujo.

Ruben Amorim between Nuno Santos and Giovani Kenda for the classics

Ruben Amorim has no serious doubts about the eleven that will face Porto at the Estadio José Alvalade on Saturday. With captain Hjulmand returning to the team after recovering from injury, the question arises whether Nuno Santos should be reinstated in the starting lineup. The winger already played in the last game against Farense, but the pace is still undesirable. If Amorim selects Santos on the left, Geni Katamo should move to the opposite side, leaving young Kenda (17) on the bench.

Genie wants to correct the mistakes in the “final”

“What we felt in the two finals [Taça de Portugal e Supertaça] “We could and should have won. These were small mistakes and we will correct them to win three points in the league,” Sporting player Zheni Katamo told the betting magazine.
