Spanish rider Marc Marquez (Ducati) won the Aragon MotoGP Grand Prix on Sunday, the 12th round of the season, in which Miguel Oliveira (Aprilia) retired on the first lap due to a fall.
Marquez, who came from pole and had already won Saturday’s sprint race, won the Grand Prix again 1,043 days after his last World Cup triumph, finishing in 41.47.082 minutes to beat compatriots Jorge Martin (Ducati) with 4.789 seconds and Pedro Acosta (GasGas) with 14.904 seconds to finish second and third respectively.
Martin, who now has 299 points, has increased his lead in the championship due to the fall of Italian Francesco Bagnai (Ducati), who is second on 23 points and Marquez third on 70, after this first win with Ducati.
