The meetings will begin with the LAB union, this Monday at noon, and will discuss the main challenges of the new legislature.
The Vice-Lehendakari and Minister of Economy, Labour and Employment, Mikel Torres, will begin this Monday, 2 September, a round of meetings with Basque social stakeholders, meetings in which he wants to address the main challenges of the new legislature, as well as the priorities of his department for the 2025 budget.
Torres will be accompanied by his three deputy ministers: Elena Pérez Barredo (Labor and Social Security), Alfonso Gurpegui (Employment and Inclusion) and Iñaki Ruiz (Economy and European Funds).
The meetings will begin with the LAB union, this Monday at 12:00 noon at the Basque Government headquarters in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The following day they will continue with meetings with a delegation from CC.OO (12:00 noon) and UGT (1:30 pm).
On Wednesday, the meetings will move to Bilbao, where a meeting with the employers’ association Confebask is scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and with the union ELA at 1:00 p.m.
