This delegation includes representatives of 16 countries, which this Thursday and Friday, on the day of the anniversary of the war after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, will hold “meetings with various political leaders at the highest level, as well as with civil society.” organizations.”

The visit “is called upon to mark the first anniversary of the brutal war unleashed by Russia,” the Portuguese parliamentarian stressed.

The Russian military offensive into Ukraine, launched on February 24 last year, plunged Europe into the most serious security crisis since World War II (1939-1945).
