One person has died in a tent fire in Vale da Amoreira, Moita Municipality, Setúbal district, a civil protection source told Lusa this Friday.
An incident warning was issued at 11:28 p.m. and a burnt victim was found, a source in the Sub-Regional Command of the Setúbal Peninsula said.
He added that the fire broke out in tents in Vale da Amoreira, next to Pablo Neruda Square.
The same source said at 00:30 this Friday that the fire was still raging, but there were no signs of other casualties yet.
Volunteer firefighters from Moita, volunteer firefighters from Barreiro, an ambulance and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) from Barreiro and a PSP were on site, a total of 22 operators supported by nine vehicles.
