ABOUT morning Post had access to an audio message from a suspected cannibalist in which he claims to have acted in self-defence. Begolean Fernandez killed a man in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and accuses the victim of trying to kill him and then eat him.
“What I went through was no joke. He is a cannibal. His people have known for a long time, you understand? […] It’s such a bizarre stop, but so bizarre that nobody believes it,” said a man arrested at Lisbon airport who had just arrived on a flight from Amsterdam and was about to board another plane bound for Belo Horizonte, in Brazil.
Cannibal also claims that the victim “grabbed a Moroccan in the street. He stabbed him in the butcher shop like a pig” and also guarantees that he saw the video footage of the moment.
In the audio message, Bolega also says that the victim called him “to her house to eat the guy’s meat. I went there. The boys warned me that this was a trap for him to catch me, you understand? A man in custody awaits obtaining a European arrest warrant from the Netherlands, to return to that country admitted that “when he tried to catch me, I had a knife, I went, I reacted and walked past him, you know?
