Former TAP administrator Alexandra Reis expressed her disagreement with the report of the General Inspectorate of Finance [IGF]but assumes that he will return the money.
“I don’t want the euro to cause the slightest suspicion,” said Alexandra Reis.
The report published by the IGF suggests that Alexandra Reis will have to return 450,000 euros to TAP of the 500,000 received.
“I agreed to leave the company, to which I gave all my obligations and dedication in protecting its interests, at one of the most difficult moments of its existence, in full good faith and, although I do not agree with the IGF, I will, of my own free will, return what the IGF specifies, regretting about the attacks on character which I have undergone in recent months.
In the communiqué, the ex-governor accuses the IGF of rewriting what happened to “probably give the simplest answer.”
