On Tuesday in Faro, a 47-year-old woman was accused of selling counterfeit products on social media.
As part of an investigation that lasted about a year, the GNR military determined that the suspect was selling counterfeit products through social media and executed a house search warrant and two vehicle search warrants, the GNR said in a statement.
The GNR seized 755 counterfeit items of clothing, perfumes and jewelry, as well as a mobile phone.
“The value of the seized items is 12,825 euros, and their introduction into consumption through marginal commercial schemes will harm the Portuguese state in terms of value added tax (VAT) of approximately 2,949 euros.” can be read in the application.
The facts were sent to the Faro Judicial Court.
