The GNR arrested seven men aged between 25 and 57 and a 55-year-old woman for drug trafficking and possession of illegal weapons in Vila Nova de Gaia. The military investigation lasted about two years.
The authorities took several steps, culminating in the execution of 25 search warrants, 12 of which were carried out in homes, 12 in vehicles and one in an institution.
Among the seized various materials are: 777 doses of hashish, 636 doses of heroin, 296 doses of marijuana, 110 doses of MDMA, 30 doses of cocaine, 6867 euros in cash, 251 ammunition, a smoke bomb, a car. , five firecrackers, a gun, a hemp greenhouse and a parrot.
All suspects have a criminal record and were present at the Porto Criminal Court on Friday. Three of the detainees were given a measure of restraint in the form of pre-trial detention, two detainees were given two-week visits to the police stations at their place of residence, and the remaining three were given a coercive measure in the form of a period of identity and residence (TIR).
