Gabriel’s funeral took place on Tuesday morning at the Church of Coimbroins in Vila Nova de Gaia. The start was scheduled for 9:30 am, when family and friends joined in the farewell to the boy who was hit by a car this Friday.
The body was later transported in a hearse to the cemetery of Santa Marinha, also in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Already this Monday, bathed in tears and still in shock from the tragedy, several family members and friends went to Coimbroins parish church in Vila Nova de Gaia to take part in the wake of the 5-year-old boy.
The boy was picked up by a car driven by José Guilherme Aguiar, sports advisor to the city council of Vila Nova de Gaia, while he was with his grandmother at a grocery store on Calle José Mariani, right in front of the house where he lived. with mother, 7-year-old sister, grandparents.
