Miguel Zetas has resigned as a member of EDP’s executive board in a decision that will come into effect after the electricity company’s scheduled general meeting in April to nominate his replacement.
“[…] EDP informs the market and the general public that, as of this date, Executive Board member Miguel Nuno Simões Ferreira Zetas has resigned from his position,” reads a statement sent to the Mercado de Mercado de Securities (CVM).
The resignation will take effect from the EDP AGM scheduled for April 12, at which his replacement will be named.
In the document, the company thanked Miguel Setas for his “important contribution” and acknowledged his “exemplary work both personally and professionally.”
Miguel Zetas served on the executive board of Eléctrica for eight years.
