The union demands an increase in the workforce, the equalization with the staff of the residences of the Provincial Council, substitutions from the first day and an increase in full-time contracts, in addition to a salary increase and other labor improvements.
The workers of the Biscay residences have started today, Wednesday, a ten day strikesummoned by the union ELA, in demand of the negotiation of the agreement.
Until now, ELA has carried out a 29-day strike in Biscayan residences, where some 5,000 people work, and in addition LAB has also promoted other strikes by an agreement that was last signed in 2017.
The ten days of strike called now by ELA will be held from March 15 to 24.
